We can offer sand casting for large, simpler shapes to be cast from aluminium and for more intricate, detailed and smaller prints we can offer investment casting which allows us to cast from aluminium, bronze and even gold or titanium. The costs associated with this process depend very heavily on the size and materials to be cast from and can have varying lead times.

There are many possibilities for metal casting 3D prints and we are exploring them as we go along. One particularly useful application is the casting of custom car parts when rebuilding old cars. Printing components in PLA plastic and casting from aluminium can be far more affordable than any other method and has a high degree of repeatability.
