Our mission is to broaden 3D printing in Australia and we will do this through two major methods. The first is to provide organisations and individuals with 3D prints and consulting at very affordable prices which are possible through my minimising to a drastic degree most of our operating overheads, word of mouth advertising is very powerful and effective. You might be surprised how cheap it can be!
The second is to bring 3D printing to a wider audience and target those who may not have even thought 3D printing is the solution to their problem. By actively searching for solutions and designs that can be achieved via 3D printing and laser cutting, we find customers who go from simply hearing about it on the news, to becoming majorly invested in it once they see what we can do. I travel all over town regularly for free consultations to explain to you exactly what you need to know about 3D printing your ideas and models. With our skills and printer capabilities, we can match or exceed the quality of prints generated in industrial 3D printers when maximum quality is needed.
Our team of 3D printing enthusiasts are capable of just about anything involve 3D printing, in exact terms however we offer nine main services:
- Accept user-provided or downloaded 3D models, repair/fix the files for printing and print on their behalf using our machines
- Advise, build, calibrate and provide tools for customers buying their own 3D printer.
- Take a customers drawings and ideas to generate a 3D model to be printed using CAD
- Provide 3D printing consultations
- Design and build original functional prototypes, props and hobby parts
- Work with industrial designers to take products to mass manufacture
- Design and supply laser cut parts from MDF or acrylic
- Advanced post-processing available with dissolvable support structures and vapour treating for perfectly smooth prints.
- Cast 3D prints in a variety of metals using sand and investment casting
I currently own 4 3D printers while my colleagues have another 6 between them, capable of printing in just about all types of legacy and new, experimental 3D printing plastics. We also supply industrial grade, maximum detail SLA and Polyjet 3D prints for specific applications.
We have experience with reading and writing patents to deal with IP laws which control some of my inventive prototyping jobs, We can give general advice and write preliminary, provisional patents along with supporting images in the early stages of product development.
To operate all the facets of this business, I work heavily with a few colleagues and associates. I handle the majority of all 3D printing on my own machines however when demand is high or I am contracted on larger jobs, my colleagues will take over to handle the 3D printing.
I know what its like to be a student and I know what its like to have a prototype not work because of one tiny dimension being off. That’s why I offer three discounts to ensure that people get the final product they always wanted without costing too much.
For Students: Any print which is used for a school, university or tafe project automatically gets a 30% discount from the final price.
For Engineers and Industrial Designers: If upon testing your printed prototype, you discover a tiny modification required that you only saw upon holding it in your hand and not on the screen, we will do commercial re-prints at 50% off. This offer is strictly for immediate modifications with a 1-day expiry. We reserve the right to decide whether a modification was significant enough for the discount to apply.
For All: Bulk discounts begin to apply for print jobs that exceed 24 hours total and cap at a maximum of 50% off.
Discounts can not be added together.
